I’ve compiled 15 ways to wear a bralet so that it doesn’t look like you’ve forgotten a shirt, below!
1. With a Maxi Skirt
Pairing a bralet with a maxi can be a way to keep it cool and light this summer. Whether you go with a printed maxi or a solid color, a bralet is an easy addition that you don’t have to tuck or tie.
2. With Cut-Off’s
Cut-off’s are another huge trend this summer, as well as last. Not only are they classic, they’re easy to pair with a cute bralet! Depending on the height of the waist, you can do a simple bralet or a full-out bustier. Add a light-weight jacket or sweater and some cute flats and you’ve got a simple, but chic look!
3. With a Sheer Blouse
If a bralet makes you feel like you forgot your shirt at home, a sheer blouse may be your best friend. It keeps you covered, but showcases the most important thing—your bralet! They come in a variety of styles and colors, so you’ll never run out of options.
4. With a Loose Tank Top/Cut-Off
If a sheer blouse isn’t enough coverage for you, a bralet peeking out of a loose tank or cut-off may suffice. It’s just enough exposure and it’s a better way, compared to layering, to keep cool this summer.
5. With a Circle Skirt
Just like the Dolce & Gabbana runways showcased it best, pairing a bralet with a circle skirt can be fun and adorable, to boot. This is a perfect way to dress up a bralet, despite how care-free and easy it is.
6. With Lace
Another way to cover up a bralet, but still show-it off, is to cover it in lace. A lace tank or flow-y top is a perfect cover up and doesn’t have you sweating. It’s a classy touch to any look.
7. With a Sweater/Blazer
Paired with the right bottom (skirt or high waisted pants), a jacket or blazer can take your bralet to the next level. You have to be careful with this, though, because sometimes it can give you that “I forgot my shirt” look.
8. With High-Waisted Shorts
I know I keep saying this, but high-waisted shorts are in. I’m biased. They give you that pin-up look I fall for every time. But in all realness, a bralet makes these shorts shine.

If you’re going for a slightly sexier look, this is it. You’re showing off all your curves with this one. Depending on how you do this one (add a belt or a jacket!), you’re bound to turn heads.

Whether you go with an over-sized denim shirt or a jean jacket, this will only add to the look you’re creating with your bralet. It’s light, it’s easy and it’s a neutral playing ground for the bottoms you choose.
15. Matchy-Matchy
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Dolce and Gabbana seriously showcased this best. Along with their circle skirt success, they showed just how fashion-forward wearing a one-pattern outfit can look. It’s as simple as this—your bralet’s pattern should match the bottoms you wear! Easy, right?
